MPS sermonizing from the whiteboard ca. 1999

Ever since I can remember, I wanted to be a research scientist...  Well, not really.  Actually I got my start doing research after taking a freshman Chem Lab course at LSU.  Years and years later here I am, trying to make a living at doing something that I really like.  I have a bit of experience in a lot of areas ranging from biochemistry to applied physics, but I'm primarily a surface chemist.  Here are a few summaries of the work I've done at various stages of my career.
